With all 473 EDs reporting, here are the final numbers for tonight:

TOTAL VOTES = 14,552

12:44 a.m. – Final T/O Projection for today = 14,556.
That would mean 396 votes still left to count tonight.

12:39 a.m. – Finally, they just dumped 54 EDs all at once!
Here is the latest tally: Gershon 5,018 Goroff 4,831 Fleming 3,998
Looks like my prediction of ‘overtime’ was correct – Gershon margin is down to only 187 votes with 16 EDs still to come.

12:28 a.m. – Latest totals still have not changed for half an hour.

12:11 a.m. – Suffolk results from CD-1 seem to be delayed after 403/473 EDs have reported.

12:09 a.m. Nationally, AOC won her Democratic Primary handily with 70% of the vote. Based on the make-up of her district, this assures her of another term in Congress this November.

11:55 p.m. Goroff has been steadily inching the gap to below 300. With all of the mail-n and absentees still to be counted, this one has overtime written all over it. Who did a better job chasing those votes?

11:46 p.m. Latest T/O projection = 15,622.

11:39 p.m. BREAKING: 32 year incumbent Democratic Congressman, Eliot Engel [CD-16] is losing 59-36% with half of the vote in.

9:18 p.m. – Nancy Goroff tells her supporters turn-out was high, and she viewed that as a good sign.

9:09 p.m. – It’s important to remember that because of Covid-19, these elections will have a higher percentage of mail-in & absentee ballots than usual. Although I will be tracking all results from today’s voting, it’s possible we may not get full results until July 6.

    Big numbers for Garbarino. Tough primary fight but hopefully sides can pull together for the fall.
