REP. LEE ZELDIN SHOWS WIDESPREAD SUPPORT THROUGHOUT CD-1

‘…it’s not about being a Republican first or a Democrat first, but about being a Long Islander first and an American first.’‘ – Rep. Lee Zeldin

The Zeldin for Congress Campaign has had to add new website pages to accommodate Congressman Zeldin’s growing list of endorsements for re-election in 2020.

According to Zeldin Campaign Director of Communications, Lance Trover, the new Endorsement Section organizes Congressman Zeldin’s over 100 endorsements. To find a particular endorsement, click on the first letter of that category.

Having such widespread support from all our communities from Smithtown to Shelter Island is an honor,’ said Congressman Zeldin. ‘Whether it was delivering PPE, testing, ventilators and funding for coronavirus response…securing the $2 billion Electron Ion Collider for Brookhaven National Laboratory…or advancing many vital Army Corps of Engineers projects in NY-1, it was not about being a Republican first or a Democrat first, but about being a Long Islander first and an American first.’

‘I believe the key has been my willingness to work with anyone at any level of government to deliver these important results for my constituents, ‘ continued Mr. Zeldin. ‘ Some are still trying way too hard to dangerously divide us all along partisan lines, especially with regards to Coronavirus. That selfish pursuit of political power only serves to deny Long Islanders bipartisan progress and optimism.’
